Rye Park Wind Farm

Client: Dundrum Civil

The Rye Park Wind Farm (RPWF) is a 396 MW onshore wind power project under construction near Rye Park, New South Wales (NSW). It will be the biggest wind farm in NSW.

Scheduled for commissioning in the first quarter of 2024, the wind farm is expected to generate up to 1,188 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of clean electricity per year. It will produce enough electricity to power 215,000 Australian homes and reduce carbon emissions by 960,000 tonnes a year.

The wind farm will be installed with 66 Vestas EnVentus V162 wind turbines each with a 6 MW rated capacity.

Pearce Geotech conducts the materials testing for this project with a remote testing laboratory annex set up onsite. This project further confirms Pearce Geotech as a market leader in materials testing for renewable energy projects.
